It is extremely important for a tenant to have an experienced attorney review the lease before the tenant signs it because most commercial leases are very long and detailed, have legal language that the tenant may not understand, places severe financial obligations on the tenant, exposes the tenant to potential liability and could cause substantial harm to the tenant. I have represented both landlords and tenants in preparing, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases, including tenants who have franchises with major national corporations.
• Contracts. I can review all kinds of contracts related to the sale and purchase of both commercial and residential real estate.
